Hot days are upon us and gourmet coffee lovers may find it difficult to fully enjoy their favorite hot brew when outside temperatures are soaring.
Why not combine the flavor of good coffee and vanilla ice cream in a delicious, refreshing drink?
This recipe is really simple:
Pour chilled coffee in a tall glass, half full. Add crushed ice and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Stir until creamy, top with whipped cream.
Pass to friends and family members and watch their faces…
This next recipe is for special occasions and people 21 and up:
Pour 1 and 1/2 cup of strong, chilled coffee, 1/2 cup of cherry brandy and 1/2 cup of cream in a shaker. Shake well, pour in tall glasses. Top with powdered sugar and a pinch of fine ground coffee. Serve with a straw.
